Verso l'alto

Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati liked outdoor adventure. On his last climb before his later sudden death, he wrote "verso l'alto" on a photograph taken by a friend from the climb, translating "to the heights" or "toward the top". It represents Pier Giorgio's earthly life and a constant striving to reach the summit of eternal life.
